The Activist Turned Politician is someone who started out by working in NGOs, organizing protests or advocating for different social causes, slowly entering the world of politics from there.
Their design is very much inspired by protest art, the punk movement and DIY practices in general. The goal was to highlight the enthusiastic, urgent and disruptive nature of this candidate. This concept is strengthened by campaign materials like stickers and flags that bring attention to social issues, as well as a handmade zine that serves as a short introduction to the candidate.
The candidate is seen wearing a hand-knitted mask inspired by ski masks commonly worn by protesters to conceal their identity, mixed with the liveliness and eccentricity of wrestling masks.
